The St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVdP) is an international Catholic organization of caring men and women who at the local parish level volunteer their time and energy to help individuals and families who are in material and social need. Through the generosity and support of our parishioners, the Society responds and offers assistance to those experiencing temporary or long-term setbacks, thus serving as the charitable arm of the parish.
Our parish St. Vincent de Paul Society collects food to help stock the Solanus Casey Food Pantry of New Bedford, regularly assists its own local clients, and receives special requests for aid which is intended to help people get back to where they will be able to manage better on their own.
