Prayer comes in four basic forms: praise (or adoration), thanksgiving, sorrow (or contrition) and intercession (petition for oneself or another person). In prayer, the Catholic offers praise, thanks, contrition and petition to God for himself or another person. The humble Catholic petitioner may also invoke the saints and angels in heaven to plead his case or cause before the throne of God. He or she may also ask other people living in the world to pray, so that all on earth and in heaven may unite in this spiritual action.
The parishioners of St. Julie Billiart are happy to pray for you or your loved one.
If you would like to request prayers, please send your request in an email to Steven Guillotte, Pastoral Assistant, at sng@saintjulies.org. Prayers will be published for 4 consecutive weeks in the parish bulletin and then removed to allow for other, new prayer requests.
